A symposium is simply a gathering where people come together to learn, exchange ideas, and hear different perspectives.

For District 219, we are taking that idea further. This weekend will include networking, education, leadership development, marketing ideas, fellowship, a guest keynote speaker, and our District Speech Contest Finals.

Who should attend

This event is open to Toastmasters throughout District 219. We want to encourage club members, club officers, Area and Division Directors, current leaders, emerging leaders, and anyone interested in growing their communication, leadership, networking, and marketing skills to attend.

One District

Friday, November 13

Networking & Connection

Friday will focus on bringing our members together. As a new District, this is an opportunity for members from across District 219 to meet, network, build relationships, and have some fun together.

Saturday, November 14

Symposium, Marketing Institute & Speech Contest Finals

Saturday will include educational sessions, leadership and marketing development, our guest keynote speaker, and the District 219 Speech Contest Finals.

One Future

Why attend

This is more than another District event.

District 219 is beginning its first year together, and this weekend gives us an opportunity to turn “One District” into something our members can actually experience.

  • Connect with Toastmasters from throughout District 219.
  • Build new relationships across our new District.
  • Gain practical ideas you can take back to your club.
  • Learn new approaches to marketing, membership growth, communication, and leadership.
  • Hear from our guest keynote speaker, Lenroy Jones.
  • Support our contestants during the District Speech Contest Finals.
  • Celebrate the many voices and experiences that make up District 219.
  • Have fun and enjoy the fellowship that makes Toastmasters more than just attending a club meeting.

Our goal is for members to leave the weekend with new connections, new ideas, and renewed excitement about their Toastmasters journey.
