Who We Are
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. It is a world leader in communication and leadership development, with more than 260,000+ memberships. Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 13,800+ clubs in 145 countries that make up our global network.
The world needs leaders. By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams, and guiding others in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program. Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech: members learn to tell their stories, listen and answer, plan and lead, and give feedback and accept it.
Toastmasters International is made up of 14 global Regions, each containing several Districts. Each District provides leadership and services to its Divisions, Areas, and Clubs, and most importantly to the individual member.
Our History
District 219 was formed on July 1, 2026, when District 10 and District 13 united into a single district. We are built on the dedication, service, and leadership of the members and leaders who came before us across both districts. Their work over many years built the clubs, traditions, and community that District 219 carries forward.
