Speech contests are powered by volunteers, and helping is one of the best ways to learn how contests work and support your fellow members. District 219 needs volunteers throughout the fall and spring contest seasons, at the Area, Division, and District levels.
Roles we need
- Contest Chair
- Chief Judge
- Voting Judge
- Tiebreaking Judge
- Timer
- Ballot Counter
- Sergeant at Arms
- Registration and Hospitality
- Zoom and Technology Support
You are welcome to help even if one of your clubs is outside District 219. If you are competing this season, let us know so we do not ask you to officiate at a level you are competing in. By signing up you agree to be contacted by District 219 leadership and contest organizers, such as contest chairs and chief judges, seeking volunteers for their contest dates.
