The Club Sponsor assists in organizing and establishing a new Toastmasters club, helping prospective members and club leaders successfully launch and charter the club.
Essential functions
- Support the club-building process from inception through chartering.
- Assist with membership recruitment.
- Coordinate or assist with launch and demonstration meetings.
- Guide prospective officers through club formation requirements.
- Be familiar with current club chartering paperwork and guide charter members through the chartering process.
- Facilitate new club officer elections.
- Collaborate with District leaders and extension teams.

- Knowledge of Toastmasters program structure.
- Public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Project management capabilities.
- Willingness to receive club chartering instruction from District leadership.
Qualifications, training & experience
- Active Toastmasters member in good standing.
- Club leadership experience preferred.
- Experience supporting membership-building efforts desirable.
- Familiar with current club chartering paperwork.
